Seeing as this site is dedicated to all things fragrant and food-oriented, it seems most appropriate to stick a picture of my window herb garden on the welcome page. Fellow apartment-dwellers, join me in lamenting our lack of soil to till, mulch to spread, weeds to pull…wait a minute. None of that sounds very appealing, now does it? That's why I love my little container herbs. They are so very easy to please, and they pay me fragrant and delicious dividends. From left to right, you see: flat leaf parsley, cilantro, mint, rosemary, sage, garlic chives, and basil.

Scent Splits When the moderators of the fragrance discussion board at makeupalley.com started to exhibit severe PMS and banned MUAers from discussing splitting perfume, we got together in another venue. Splitting a bottle of perfume is a great way to share the cost of an often pricey scent. One person buys a full bottle and then divides the fragrance into smaller bottles and mails them out to participants, who usually pay her via Paypal. It's all above board and I've never had a bad experience with the ladies on this site.
