Gianni Campagna

Gelsomino
As my Sarrasins decant dwindles, I've been on a jasmine hunt. I know that somewhere out there, there must be a jasmine scent I can accept as a suitable substitute for Sarrasins. When I first dabbed on Gelsomino by Gianni Campagna (another one not available in the US…I don't know why I even tried) I squealed "OOOH!" I indulged in this embarassing behavior because the top notes have that same ugly-pretty tone that Sarrasins does. They are all jasmine and they are intriguing. Unfortunately, there is a LOT of bergamot in this fragrance and after a moment or two, it begins to eclipse the jasmine in a clear and total kind of way. The search continues.
